...mh... one of those cases where it's really difficult to side with either the buyer or the seller.
They are both equally breaking the law, but the seller alse dares ask for good fb and stars...
The seller is acting against ebay policies, I'm sure if you bring ebay's attention on that nobody is going to notice he's selling pirate copies, and that you are one of those who bought them. :D

Thing is it don't say in the listing that your going to get a copy so i haven't done anything wrong in buying it. If you report it to ebay they won't do anything about it unless the seller is ripping them off for their ebay fees.

I bought some software that is used in main car dealers so i knew the software was going to be a copy but i still bought it :o so i would like to know what you would do after reading the message i got.

Just to let you know I have just burnt the disks and they have been sent to you - please see the instructions (supplied on the disk) before install. Would HUGELY appreciate positive feedback, importantly with 5 stars across the DSR's - where you rate things like communication, item as described etc. Any problems, or if you are unhappy, drop me a message through My Messages on eBay

Best to read your own posts before defending yourself, in the original you state that you knew the software would be a copy.
The seller may not have listed it as such but you were well aware of what you were buying, now you're getting indignant over a request for FB & good DSR's.
    Get real.

But you know NOW that it's a copy...

SO the correct thing to do would be to open up a dispute for a counterfeit item, get the seller to prove it was not counterfeit, then DESTROY it!

If more people reported the scum that can't be bothered to earn a fair living, then less would do it.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Trouble is the seller is selling them cheaper than any other seller on ebay so who is going to report someone who is selling them cheaper.

An honest person who will not support the trade in pirated and rip off items?

So what was the first post for?

If it's the dealers diagnostic software, and you've bought it to load on your laptop to use with an OBD II cable, you knew it's not a legal version before your bought it.

Your first post said that you KNEW it would be a copy. I really don't get what you're getting your guts in an uproar about, you bought what you knew or strongly suspected to be copied software, then want to know if you should report the seller for asking for good FB & DSR's.

I was robbing the bank on friday, As I waited for the cashier to bag the money i looked outside to see an old lady
    dropping litter.

I went out to chastise her for such a selfish and mindless act and told her to collect her litter.

In the meantime the bank closed and refused to let me back in pointing to the clock on the door, They close at 5:00pm
I phoned Tim the speaking clock and it was only 4:59pm.

Can i claim compensation? Who from the Bank for closing early or the old lady for dropping litter and distracting me from
    my business?

    Worlds gone mad...

Wonder if the seller has reported you for using counterfeit software? Could be collecting his reward as you read this.

    Good business plan?

You're an absolute nutter old chap :)

Unlike many on here, I have no qualms about using fake software, pirated DVDs, etc. I always think that if the legit companies charged more realistic prices instead of profiteering, the pirate trade would die anyway.

However, I am bright enough to realise that, when you're breaking some law or other, it's probably better to keep my head down while doing it.
