WARNING: Fraudulent Transactions by Holiday Inn Express

Unvelievable!

I've just checked my online statement and discovered that Holiday Inn Express have been taking UNAUTHORISED PAYMENTS from my debit card.

Take great care when booking the BIG SALE offer from Holiday Inn/Holiday In Express!

They will charge you the advertised rate (in my case £39/night), then a week later they will charge you the difference between the RACK RATE and the RATE YOU PAID!!! In this case, an additional £26/night.

They have yet to a) refund the overcharge b) come up with a reasonable excuse or c) apologise.

Mistake or not, this is FRAUD.

Update: Received a refund card voucher today....problem solved you might think...

    No!

The refund voucher was to someone else's credit card and contained their full card number, name and expiry date!

    Give me strength!

Thanks for the warning - i'll be sure not to use them in the future. I often travel and i've never heard of anything quite like that. Unbelieveable! I wasn't that impressed with the service last time i stayed with them anyway.
