I don't think it is good value really. Sony's are not into the plasma market + the resolution is not great + you can get a Panasonic current model (42PX60)with 5 year guarantee for less than £1000 at the moment...2 HDMI connections too and Freeview.

i dont think the sony plasma has a built in tuner, ie. you cant watch tv channels on it.

it is just a plasma screen, to make it into a tv, you need some speakers and a tv tuner

This is old stock stay away from it. sony only make lcd tv's now!
