Sounds a good offer! Where's it from on Comet's website? I've tried following the image link, but it just takes me to the 'find your nearest store' page on Comet.
  • It was sent to people via email who subscribe to the Comet newsletter.
  • Going to buy the cheapest thing in Comet to get sky HD tommorrow , any one know the cheapest thing in Comet ???

  • Can anyone confirm if it is possible to get the free Sky+ just by purchasing a small item from Comet? My other half rang Comet today and they told her it's only on TV purchases of £399 and over.
  • My mate went to 'Comet' in Coventry today - bought some CD-R about £8.00 will have Sky + fitted on 13/12/06. (Existing sky customer).
Chose multiroom, so free sky+ box and free fitting OR
Free Sky+ box then £60.00 installation otherwise

is it a voucher that can be reedem at later date r do i have 2 drag my dad down to comet as our sky is in his name?
  • I got this yesterday all you need if your an existing sky customer is to pay your £30 deposit plus what ever you buy comet will then give you a code ref. sky system is down till monday so you wont be able to book up your install till then. Comet will give you a phone number to dial.

Dont waste time on your 0870 number to find out this. On the till receipt is the store number all sky looks for is that plus the code. They will say to you did you purchase it with a tv save yourself a lot of grief and just say yes as that is what the code is for.

Hope this helps people out there

Whats the £30 deposit for ?
  • The deposit is probably just their comision, sky take the balance after you phone on monday to make it £149 so when comet take the £30 sky will take £119 if your an existing customer and take multi room. Other wise your looking at £119 plus £60 install.

My thoughts on it is take the multi room for 6 months and then cancel that way you would have had the benefit for it for the cost of the install.

I used to have sky multi room but cut it off got a card through the post saying i could have multiroom for half price for 3 months if I came back after not having it for 4 months lol so going to try and use it along with this promo to really get the benefit of it.

I dont know the code for the half price multi room as i binned it so going to wing it just in case someone else asks what the promo code is for that. The way I figure is they should have record saying that they sent it out so that should be suffice.

    Hope that helps.
