i live in a flat with shared sky box ...i use the £20 card to receive sky programs only ......i was wondering ...
1, how much would it be to get basic sky+ and one package only , so i can watch some stuff and use the + ( no talk or broadband)
2, if i got a freesat box and plug it in the sky aerial hole would it work ? so i can watch and record stuff ? ( No digital signal via normal aerial )

1. Not sure £35ish p/m?
2. Yes freesat uses the same feeds as sky remember you will need two connections to be able to record a different channel than the one being viewed.0 -

Both methods have limitations on recording one channel at a time or watching one without an additional feed being made available to your flat and that would be up to the management committe/landlord to arrange for you with the satellite installers contracted for your building (who may also be the one to talk to about a Sky install and should be able to offer the same deals as Sky direct).0
