Edit: price has changed to £119.99 + delivery so not such a bargain any more.

Ordering online works out cheaper if you go through a cashback site. Greasypalm.co.uk gives its users 10 per cent off most items at Jessops (search for Jessops after you log in to Greasypalm to get the code - the discount worked for me) plus 1.5 per cent cashback.

If ordering online it's £3.95 standard delivery to addresses in England, Scotland and Wales or £12.95 to Northern Ireland (don't get me started on the surcharge... but with the discount and cashback, including an extra 3 per cent back from GE Money card, it's not so bad).

Specification:
- Wall or stand mounted digital picture frame with speaker and remote control

My comments:
A fairly good price for an 8-inch digital photo frame. Yes, it's a lesser known brand than Philips etc but the price reflects that.

And yes, I know Amazon have been doing cheap 7-inch frames recently (for around £50 without MP3 playback or £80 with it) but I think this is worth the extra to have a bigger display. Plus, Amazon have had problems getting stock of the ATMT frames so that's not ideal.

I haven't seen the quality of the IQ frame yet but the resolution is 640 x 480 pixels which I believe is regarded as acceptable to good.

The aspect ratio is 4:3. This is best for most amateur digital photographers because cheap to mid-range cameras take pictures in more or less these dimensions.

This means your pictures won't need much cropping or shrinking by width, unlike what is required by a lot of 7-inch frames which tend to be in the 16:9 (widescreen) ratio, ie 480 x 234 pixels. Read some of the ATMT frame reviews on Amazon and you'll see this tends to be the main gripe with the 7in displays.

I hope this helps anyone who has, like me, been looking for a frame of 7ins or above with decent resolution.
