or those hunting for Xmas Pressies for toddlers (1-5yrs)...
I've been scouting around for the best price on the popular little people sets and found a few bargains on amazon.
The Little People Touch and feel Circus is especially good @ £9.99 (RRP £24.99) so 60% saving
http://www.amazon.co.uk/World-Little.../dp/B000ENW6B4
I got the 'time to learn preschool' at £15 which I've only seen at cheapest £20 elsewhere.

Haven't seen these before so I may be missing something but are these characters in a setting? Or are they musical or moving or what?0
-
Little People are Fisher Price's main 'imaginative play' toys for 1-5 yr olds. They are basically little plastic characters and animals that live in little plastic scenarios that you (of course) buy seperately. E.g. House, Garage and car wash, Fair ground, Preschool, farm, zoo, circus etc etc....
They are really robust and usually have some level of interactive technology, e.g they either make sounds when various bits are pressed, play music or light up. They have a new range with more tactile bits now too like the circus I mentioned where the animals have various bits made of different materials.

Best to look at the fisher price site to get a better idea:

"Robust"
that's the main selling point AFAIK thanks0 -
I got some of these last Christmas when DD was coming up for 3. They are great value, and one of the few things that still get played with regularly. I'd definately recommend them for anyone who needs a gift idea.

Hope this is of use to someone - you've got me looking for Little People stuff now!
One of the sets is the "Ramps Around Garage" http://www.amazon.co.uk/World-Little-People-Around-Garage/dp/B000096PNA/sr=1-23/qid=1165533693/ref=sr_1_23/202-3329994-6919022?ie=UTF8&s=kidswhich Amazon sell for £45 well I found it reduced to £20.24 ex delivery (£4.95) at Mothercare. There's also a 10% off code if you order before 15.12.06. HTH
Just found another garage at Amazon that's closer in price so I'm not too sure which is which http://www.amazon.co.uk/World-Little-People-Garage-Touch/dp/B000EQHIYG/sr=1-8/qid=1165533693/ref=sr_1_8/202-3329994-6919022?ie=UTF8&s=kids
Anyway with the 10% code it's still cheaper at Mothercare. HTH0 -
No takers? I thought this was a great price.0

Both those garages are the same and they generally sell for around £25 so although your price is slightly cheaper by the time you add on postage I don't think it is. Sorry.
