Hiya,
Can anyone advise on how to get a bank account after being out of the country for 5 odd years?
My DD is 33 and has been off travelling etc in Europe. Now she's back with me and has a job and needs to pay wages into an account. She's on electoral roll which is one thing...has been on for 2 months.
How easy is it for her to get a bank account without a previous uk address and are there any banks which it would be easier with.
She needs to start building a credit history as she is now settling down here in uk but I don't want her to start applying and getting rejected and it affecting her credit rating because she doesn't have a previous uk address for last 5 years.
Any suggestions and how she tackle this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
