MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.:hello:0 -
To invest my Cash ISA at 1.5%, I'd want rather more than a £5 incentive!0

How much is £5 worth now!
I doubt if you'd get much change when you buy a packet of crisps!0 -

Break-even point vs. even a 3% ISA would be a paltry £370 over a year (including the free £5 and the interest on that).
I suppose if you were only going to put £100 or so in an ISA, this would pay an effective interest of ~6.5%. But anything much above that, and the free fiver will be eclipsed by the multiple tenners they're taking from you in below-par interest.0
