Travel Insurance?

Hello all,

I am pretty new here and just wondered if you were able to help me with my travel insurance? My mum recently went to Vegas and lost a diamond in her wedding ring, on her return her insurance company said she couldn't make a claim as she no longer has the receipt for it (she got married 20 years ago!) anyway, this has made me a bit worried (especially as my husband nearly lost his wedding ring in the sea on our honeymoon). Does anyone know of any comprehensive insurance that would cover damage/loss as I would really like to have the peace of mind? Or would general personal possessions insurance be a better way to go?
