have heard that battery life is pretty naff with most of the android phones.

All Smartphones drain the battery dependant upon how much stuff is switched on .

Be aware that Smartphones are Data On 24 hours a day unless its turned off when not required .

Hi, don't just judge a phone what it feels like to hold on its own , with a lot of the smart phones once you put them in a flip case they become much more easy to hold especially with arthritis etc. I think with most smartphones it is best to put them on charge everynight to ensure they dont run out the next day. Best place for reviews is www.gsmarena.com It usually gives previews/expert reviews/manual/ 360 degree spin and pictures, although I ignore the user comments as most are from abroad and are quite trivial.

Just don't hold it while you make or receive a phone call :rotfl:

There's not a single touchscreen phone on the market that doesn't suffer that problem. Even my Nokia 5800 does.

Android app store agree one developer was dodgy

Google pulled 21, most of which rooted your phone, transferring anything they wanted from it and loading more stuff on it.

iPhone. Has longest battery life and best app support. There's some hokey stuff been turning up on the android app stores.

Was the iphone one of the two phones for comparison?

    Nope - didn't think so.

Apple fanbois can not leave it alone:D

While not, they did want a phone for the best business capability. They then started moaning about how battery life could be poor and bought another make (nokia), in to the ring.

Sorry to say but if battery life means alot then the blackberry does win hands down.

Had a look at the Blackberry, but just can't get on with a QWERTY keyboard that small - would find it so annoying not to be able to touch type, plus my fingers aren't dextrous enough to use keys that small anyway.

When I mentioned business use this is simply to receive calls and be able to book and diary appointments and call clients etc. plus have internet access if I need it to check e-mails occasionally if I can't get wireless access for my laptop. I've had a look at the Nokia it is a bit smaller which concerns me, as I need something comparatively chunky to hold. Thanks for all the help and suggestions. Still haven't quite made up my mind, although the HTC is slightly ahead atm because the screen is slightly bigger.

You can walk into Carphonewarehouse and get it for £18 unlimited data at moment, 300 mins, 1000 text. Get deal so I went for it, as was due an undate on Three and they couldn't match it.

    Might be cashback online
