Personal loan and late payments

Hi All,

I am looking to get a personal loan in the next couple of months.

I have 4 late payments on my credit report:

- 1 with BarclayCard (7 months old)
- 2 in succession with Halifax Card (6/7 months old)
- 1 with Next Store card (7 months old)

These are all 'late payments' (not missed), and apart from my Next card, I had actually made a payment which was unforunately only around 90% of the required payment amount.

My question is: What kind of impact will these have on my ability to get a personal loan in the next month or two? The rest of my credit history is pretty good! I read that if the late payments are showing as " 1's " on your credit file, it doesn't have too much effect - is this correct?

Late payment shouldnt have too much a impact on your file as a payment was still made you would probably have more trouble if no payment was made at all.

Thanks for the advice. Has anyone else had a similar experience with late payments and applying for a personal loan?
