hi
2 things,
can you transfer into a ' transfer allowing ' new isa at any time? ie, should I open up a new one now then transfer my old one in a months time when my old isa bonus stops?
2ndly, can you tranfer more than one older isa into 1 new one
many thanks in advance

1) Yes, although usually you have to fund the ISA within a certain amount of time of opening it, so check the T & Cs. Depending on the type of bonus, it may be worth transferring now - eg, I had a Barclays golden ISA issue 2 paying 3.08% which included a year long bonus, but there was no penalty for moving out before the year was up, and I was putting it into an account with a higher interest rate, so it was worth doing. Obviously you wouldn't do this if the bonus was reliant on holding the account for a specified amount of time.
2) Yes. You'll have to fill in a form for each account.0 -

Technically yes, although most accounts require you to put something in them (whether it's a transfer or a deposit) within a certain time period. So if you plan to transfer, check the account's restriction.
Assuming you want the best rate and instant access, Halifax is the winner at the moment with the Direct Reward Issue 4, and you have to fund it within 28 days. The good news is they pay interest from when they receive your form, so you'll get interest from both Halifax and your current provider until the current provider gives them the money.2ndly, can you tranfer more than one older isa into 1 new one
Yes, I've just done exactly that.0
