Does anyone on this forum know how to sell unlisted shares - I have some shares which I bought as part of a SIPP and now I wish to divest them - I am looking for a private investor or someone who knows how to sell shares - the company who issued the shares do not wish to purchase them at this time
Thanks:j

Think you'd be better asking on the Savings & Investments Board“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0

Are they worth anything? Are they listed on the AIM market?
How are you going to value them, this will need to be done on a matched basis, which will be hard if no one makes a market in them.
Do you have a copy of their accounts?
Your best bet will be directors, employees or family members (if a family business). Ask the company if anyone is interested (you do own a bit of it so they should at least try to help).0 -
Have a look at the M&A as to how they can be sold - sometimes it has to be approved by/back to the company/director.0

Hi,

If it is a minority shareholding, is there a shareholders agreement? More detail is needed.0
