Hello,
I won an auction last Friday and paid through Paypal, but I can't seem to get hold of the seller to arrange for me to pick the item up. I have emailed and also texted, this morning I called the mobile number but there was no reply.
How long should I give them and how can I get my money back if they won't correspond?
thanks

You can open up a paypal dispute at any time. Then you can escalate the claim I think after 10 days for paypal to review. Open up the dispute, if the seller is still not responding, then escalate it to paypal, then they'll refund you. (claim takes time though.)0 -
Ok, thanks for the advice. I have sold loads of items but not brought anything that has been pick up only. I will give it a few more days in case seller is ill and then open up a dispute.8 years of being on a DMP finished 3/3/140

Opening up the first dispute only raises it to the seller, and not paypal, so don't worry about it. You can close it at anytime with no harm done if you do get a reply or collect it. It's always good to do it now though, seen as it has been a week, saves a few days with waiting the 10 day limit for paypal to escalate.
Hope this helps.0 -
