I cannot help with the moving of the couches, so you must come with a total of 4 able bodied MEN to move them.

4 female soliders would be of a lot more use than 4 unfit men.
My employer's like that when something needs moving they try and get male employees to do the moving while a tall well built female who's a black belt in karate just sits there and is never asked to help!0 -
Men are usually stronger than women - fact!
Plus who wants to break one of your nails lifting and carrying, thats mens work

My brother sold his large sofa, & said that you would need at least 2 strong people to shift it. A guy turned up with his wife she was totally useless & the guy ended up paying 2 men who lived upstairs to help.
I've also had couples turning up for furniture & she generally sits in the van.
I've stopped helping now & always say that it will need strong people as I can't help.0 -

I wonder what legal ('elf & safety) implications there would be if a winning bidder incurred an injury on the seller's property, as a result of collecting an item sold on ebay?
... Maybe I just put a few ideas into a few scammers' heads!

I had to laugh though when I read in the listing that "nothing on or around the sofas are included in the sale"....Did she think people were going to place bids thinking the children were up for auctionThe loopy one has gone :j0 -
