Hi
At the moment I am receiving WTC and CTC based on my earnings in 09/10 - I only worked the last 6 months of that period as was living abroad till then.
My earnings in that period were just over £7000, I estimated my earnings for period 10/11 at £17000 as there is opportunity for monthly target related bonuses in my job so was unsure how much extra on top of my £13000 salary I would get.
I have worked hard and done well, have just received my final payslip for 10/11 and it shows my gross income for the tax year as £19600.
Will I have been overpaid because I said my earnings would be £17000 when they have actually been £19600?
I am a single mum with 1 child (13 yrs)
thanks

No, the disregard this year is 25k so you'll be OK. Prepare for a big drop in tax credits from April though...0
