Somebody reported my listing!

And it got freakin' removed!!!!...........:(

I admit i was selling something that eBay don't sell, but c'mon man, there's lots of them on there for sale and nobody is reporting them, so why mine, i think other sellers got jelly of my listing as i had 3 times more than what they were selling.

BUT i have now re listed, this time with only 24 hours to bid on, so i hope it sells by tomorrow before being reported

Rant over - thanks.
Owed out = lots.

By Ebay not selling it, do you mean it is prohibited? If so, then you now risk your account being closed.

Lots of people list things they shouldn't and Ebay try to control this but someone reporting a listing helps bring it to the top of the list. So if someone has reported you already, they will probably do so again.

I really really would remove it from sale immediately. You won;t get a second warning and as the onlywayisup says you will get suspended.

Hi OP a listing can also be removed after a sale has taken place so if trust and safety get a report and see that your item was removed before it does not matter that the listing has ended they can still remove it.
Ebay will then email the buyer advising them to claim back their money and if the buyer decides to do this they will be refunded instantly as your item was removed.
This means that as it takes between 24 and 48 hours for trust and safety to investigate a report you may have been paid and sent the item only to find the buyer is refunded and there is no real way for you to defend against the claim as ebay advised the buyer to make it because your item was removed.
Also as others have said this is a quick way to get your ebay account suspended.

This is so peculiar, the anonymity allows the OP to appear a bit shameless. Why else mention it?

I guess you have a point, but whoever is bidding on my item has a massive history of buying them 100% feedback - unlikely he will claim a refund i think, and since there are lots of sellers of this on a regular basis, unlikely i will get a suspension. I will update tomorrow if anyones interested.

Hi Mr. Alien from another social structure, there is no shame in selling what i am selling, its called small talk on here, humans do this when talking to others about similar interests. Maybe you can take this info back to your leader?

Doesn't matter who else is selling what, YOU have been warned once so you are statistically more likely to be caught again as ebay will be watching. It won't matter a bit to all those other sellers if your listings disappear without a trace.

    Tenth Anniversary
a friend of a friend was selling fake handbags last year from china, costing £35 and selling for £200+, they were reported and suspended but came back with a new account which lasted about 3 months before they were suspended again. In the end 6 accounts were used.
