Morning.
I sold an item yesterday, i have just checked to see if the buyer had paid and my ebay is stating that the buyer has checked out, and will contact me to make arrangements via credit card. Ive no idea whats happened but i have checked the listing and that is saying i accept credit cards, but i dont, i haven't got a clue how to or even if i would beable to.
Can anyone advise please?

Hi,
when I buy on ebay I pay by credit card, through PayPal, it is then paid into seller's PayPal account, which can then be transferred to seller's bank account.0 -
Thanks frugal, i have sent the buyer a messege, saying i cannot accept credit card payments directly, but have told them they can link their credit card to their paypal account and the pay via paypal, or that i will accept other payment methods such as cheque, postal order.
I think thats about all i can do for now, i just hope they are understanding typesEveryday im shufflin' Proud Padder ~ All Hail The Power of Pad0 -
If you send them a paypal invoice, they can open the invoice without using the paypal login, instead of logging in, they get the option to input their credit card details on the front page. You don't see the credit card details and paypal process it in the normal way for you. They then don't need to add/verify a credit card and payment is taken one time only from the card of their choice.0

Just make sure you haven't accidentally ticked the credit card option on any further auctions as well, just in case.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks again!
Ive been poking around in paypal and i think ive got it ....
Theres an option to request payment, for this i would just need the buyers email address and they can make the payment without linking their card to a paypal account.Everyday im shufflin' Proud Padder ~ All Hail The Power of Pad0
