Prize draw is open to UK residents only aged 21 years or over who have not opted out of receiving marketing communications from North America Travel Service or Canada’s West (Travel Alberta & Tourism British Columbia).

The prize is for two people travelling together and sharing twin/double accommodation throughout and includes:

Return economy flights for two people from London Heathrow to Vancouver, Calgary or Edmonton, including taxes. Open jaw travel (arriving at one airport and departing from another) permitted subject to availability.

One week's Intermediate two-door car hire inclusive of unlimited kilometres, loss damage waiver (LDW), up to $1m third party liability cover, province and local taxes and airport fees. All drivers must possess a valid driver's license (held for at least one year) and major credit card. Driver's must be aged 21 years or above. Drivers aged between 21 and 25 will be responsible for the 'underage fee' of $25 per day, payable locally. Pick up and drop off locations can vary depending on the itinerary route chosen. Any one-way drop off fees that may apply are not included in the prize and will be payable locally in Canada by the renter. Where applicable, the fee will be advised at the time of booking.

Reservations must be made by December 31, 2011 and travel must commence prior to November 30, 2012. Departures not permitted between June 25 and September 6, 2011 or 2012.

Prize draw closing date: May 15, 2011

Entry is restricted to one entry per person. No purchase is necessary. An independent person will randomly pick one winning entrant from the pool of all eligible entries within 28 days of the close date. The winner will be notified within 14 days of the draw date by telephone or email.

Travel insurance and travel documents such as valid passports and visas are the responsibility of the winner.

If the requirements for the car rental cannot be met, the car included in the prize cannot be utilised and the winner and travelling companion will be responsible for their own transportation arrangements.

Prize is non transferable, non exchangeable and non changeable. There is no cash alternative offered.

All expenses, including but not limited to, additional room costs, transfers from airport to hotel and v.v.(unless using car hire included in the prize), fuel costs, parking, meals, beverages and items of a personal nature are
not included in the holiday prize and will be the responsibility of the prizewinner. Prize excludes travel to and from departure airport in the UK.

Once confirmed changes cannot be made.

The prize is subject to availability and restricted travel dates to be advised to the winner at the time of booking.

The promoter is not responsible for any delays or cancellation of any element of the prize or for any inability of the prize-winner or their guest to take up the prize. The promoter reserves the right to suspend, change or terminate the Prize draw at any time, and for any reason, without notice. Entry to the Prize draw implies acceptance of all relevant terms and conditions by the entrants.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the partners in this promotion accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury caused by, or to, the prize winner or their guest whilst taking the prize.

If the winner cannot be located within 21 days of the drawing of the prize, then the runner-up from the draw will be selected as the new winner.

Events may occur that render the prize draw itself, or the awarding of the prize impossible, due to reasons beyond the control of the promoter and accordingly, the promoter may, at its absolute discretion, vary, or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the promoter as a result thereof.

The draw is not open to employees, agents, contractors of The Mail, North America Travel Service, Travel Alberta or Tourism British Columbia or their families or anyone professionally connected with the prize draw.

The Promoter is not responsible for the entrant’s submission of incorrect telephone numbers, e-mail or postal addresses or for problems with entries caused by any factors outside their control.

Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute alternative prizes of similar value.

Third party entries into draw will not be accepted.
