Claiming for unsigned recorded delivery

I read on here recently that you can claim from Royal Mail if a recorded delivery item has been delivered but no signature has been obtained. I've had a look but can't find it again - can someone who knows let me know the process?

Many thanks

That's ok with me - I just went back through the last couple of months of postage and was shocked at how many still show as processing (probably 30- 40% of all recorded I have sent over that period!). Should add up to a nice few stamps!

Yep it is well worth doing and has th eadvantage as well as logging all these unsigned items with the PO so they know what sort of level of problem they have.

Ooh - I never realised you could claim back for this - have checked my recent receipts and 3 out of 9 items sent by recorded post are still showing as 'being progressed'! Thanks for bringing this up!

Though isn't it often the case that they'll have the signature on their records, making it a double whammy A) ebay can't see a signature cos it's not online andb B) royal mail have the signature in their records so won't pay out
