help with mortgage interest

hi i am just some advice i split up with my husband june last yr and due to intolerable
circumstances i moved out of the jointly owned house into rented acc my sol has now
advised me i maybe able to get the house back and for my husband to move out but
still stay on the mortgage we have a son together and i have two other children....if this
happens i have heard that i might be able to get help with the mortgage interest???if i can
who do i apply to i know you have to be on income suport for 17 weeks??which i have been
since we split up....any help wud be appreciated thanks
