I always leave feedback but noticed a lot of people that I buy from and sell to don't.
If you don't, is there any reason for it?

I always leave feedback as a buyer. As a seller I usually leave feedback as soon as I dispatch the item, however early on I received a couple of unneccessary neutrals from buyers with low feedback. As a test I stopped giving feedback staright away to buyers with less than 20 feedback and now find buyers with low feedback generally contact me first if they are not happy so I can always put it right. Might have been a coincidence but I still do that now.
I find generally that at least 50% of buyers don't bother leaving feedback at all.0 -
I only leave feedback if the seller leaves it for me first.
I hardly ever sell on eBay but will leave feedback on receipt of payment.0 -
When i buy something i tend to leave fb when the item has arrived, have opened it etc.
As a seller, I leave feedback when the buyer has received / left feedback for it, as I'd consider the transaction finished when I know they are happy with it / happily received. If I don't hear from a buyer after they have their item / if they don't leave feedbakc, I may leave it just before it drops off my sold page - i can't remember how many days that is...or i may not bother.0 -
I always leave FB. As a seller I leave fb once the buyer has left for me and as a buyer I always leave fb once I have recieved and am happy with the goods.
Some buyers never leave fb and therefore don't get it back and some sellers never leave fb either but I have already left it. No biggie really.0 -

As a seller, if growing your feedback score is important to you, you will probably find that you receive more feedback from buyers if you leave them feedback first.0

No, I do not always leave feedback. If I have been a little unhappy with a transaction then I prefer not to leave any feedback, rather than leave a poor one. I save the poor feedback for when I have a more major gripe.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I do this too. As a seller you can't leave neg feedback anyway, so if I'm not happy, I just don't leave any. Most of the time I leave a nice comment though.
I think a lot of people don't agree with the whole feedback system since it was changed, so they never bother with it any more.
I like to check the feedback of the people I deal with though.0 -
As a seller I always leave feeback as soon as they have paid. I can't leave negative anyway, so what do I gain by not giving it straight away? And some buyers don't like the idea that they have to leave feedback before receiving it.
As a buyer I leave it when I am happy. If I'm not happy I give the seller a chance to sort it out. If they don't, or they ignore me, they get a low DSR or a neutral/negative depending on the type and severity of the problem.0
