Best way to approach having fittings and extras included in price

What's the best way to approach this?
Home we're buying in the Midlands, used to be a show home and the vendors kept all the interior design and furniture they got with the show home. It's only a few years old, and we love it. We don't have that nak to design a home the way it is, and would love to have this included, or at least some bits and bobs, like coffee tables, wardroabs, dinner tables, lamps, even sofas!
They are including the standard, carpets, etc ...
Anyone with experience in this matter, personal experience?

Ask the vendors through the Estate Agent if they would consider including certain items.
They probably like them as well, so will want extra money for them.
I've done this on white goods and my dad has done this in the past with furniture.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
As Withabix suggests, but first ask yourself if you want to be pay over the odds for a lamp when you can buy one in Asda for £2..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -

(a) Keep the photos of the house as it is now
(b) look up similar furniture.
(c) price it all up.
You don't have to have a knack. You can copy.0 -
Second hand furniture, when included in the price of the sale of a property, doesn't add up to much. The vendors may value the curtains, wardrobes, lamps, dressing tables, coffee table, dinning table as more than the small amount you'll be able to offer them due to it being second hand. If this is the case you'd end up having to pay then near new price to get them to give it up in which case you might as well just buy new.
Take photo's and make your own house a home.0
