I believe you need to contact your local wheelchair services, ask your GP?

Hi, your child's OT will make the referral to wheelchair services where they will measure and assess your daughter for something more suitable. hth

My son also had a major buggy, provided by the Wheelchair Assessment Centre at the local hospital. Our NHS trust provides them for those who need one either indoors or outdoors.

The WAC will be able to advise whether a major buggy is the best option for your daughter, or if a wheelchair is more appropriate. My son used a major buggy until he was nine - he is small for his age. He was then assessed and measured for a small wheelchair, which he still has. He is now almost 13.

Yoyr GP or specialist can refer you.
