Buyer not paid after two weeks EBay sale

Sold an item 2 weeks ago and still no payment.
Can I just decide that I am not selling it to them now ? I actually don't think I want to sell it at all to anyone now. Thanks

Yeah open a non paying bidder dispute, if they don't respond within 4 days I think, they get a NPB strike.

As above, you can open an NPB case 4 days after the sale by clicking on the 'Report a problem' option in the drop down box next to the listing on your 'Sold Items' page. The buyer then has 4 days to pay up and if they don't they get a strike against them and are unable to leave you feedback.

If they pay and you choose not to send then no one can force you to complete the deal, but they would be able to open a case against you and your seller status would be affected. You'd also lose the final value fees.

A third option is to send them a request to cancel the sale but that puts the ball in their court. If they decline the request, again you lose your fvfs.

Chances are that they don't want the item, personally I'd open an NPB case and wait it out.

i (think) i raised a case for a NPB after 8 days and no contact from the buyer. I have a 1 case open thing in my account but when i click on that, it takes me to the resolve a problem page....
Did i open the case properly?

You need to close the case to complete it and get your fees back.
    This page should help:- http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/unpaid-items.html

i dont understand how it is four days. I raised a claim after 1 week then it took them almost 3 weeks to pay me... how does that work?

After 4 days you can close the case, thereby cancelling the sale. You will then receive your fees back, the buyer can no longer pay, and they will receive a NPB strike. It doesn't happen automatically.

If you want to keep the item opening a NPB dispute may not be the best thing to do - these disputes are intended to make a buyer pay not to cancel a sale so you can keep an item.
