buyer opened SNAD item was new

hi i had a buyer buy a swimsuit from me
now 30days on she has opened dispute even though i said send back for inspection.
She claims its not as described because upon washing it in machine the diamonte buckle has broke.. diamontes come off.. even though she has not worn it.
Im certain it was hand wash only and it was new in picture you can see
a plastic bit that is on new items.. i listed as no return also.

The buyer opened the dispute a few days ago and i have not receieved a reply or the item.

Any advice? im a private seller and cant afford to really refund im suspecting it was wrong size as noticed most of her purchases was bigger size.

She'll have to send it back tracked at her own cost.

If you're 100% sure the label said hand wash only, then state that on the dispute.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

The dispute will require her to prove that she has returned it to you - if she cannot prove it then the dispute should go in your favour.

I had a reply and buyer closed case.. i did send few messages asking when to expect it returned as its a right pain if i miss the postman..
was no reply for 5 days then today i get this:

As per my previous message, I have at no point tried to say that this item was not brand new although I keep being told this. Due to the responses I have had I have decided to keep the item and try to repair it in some way so that I can actually wear it, it was certainly not worth what I paid for it. Thanks

well unsure what to do next if item was returned then i could have known for sure and refunded..any ideas on how to follow up if neg is left?
    thanks

I would just leave it personally. Get some more sales under your belt so you start getting in a wodge of feedback, and any neg she leaves will soon be lost among all the positives.
