Buyer not paid

Just seeking some advice from you experts on here.

Buyer has not paid after 8 days, sent an invoice on 24/02, reminder email on 28/02, opened NPB case on 02/03 and emailed again.

What do I do now?

Do I close the case and give second chance offer to next best bidder?
Or do I wait longer, and if so how long?

First time this has happened to me so not sure of the process.

Buyer has 100% feedback, but only on 9 items. I have 100% on over 130 items, 38 of these in the last 6 months.

You can close a date 4 days after you opened it, so you need to close it on the 6th. Ebay will then issue you a refund for your sellers fees and you are then free to do a second chance offer or relist. I would also block the buyer.

Clos eit after 4 days and relist and as above block buyer straight away.

    Thank you both

Have blocked buyer and set myself a reminder to close the case on Sunday

It has taken me this long to work out how to block the buyer ;)

    Hijacking the thread, Sorry!

Selling a car on ebay, the winning bidder has not contacted me since the auction end, 1pm. I was online at the time of the auction finishing and emailed them straight away. The winning bidder had made multiple bids, as they were outbid by somebody else.

Another bidder who was outbid contacted me asking for a 2nd chance offer.

I want to get rid of the car asap, as I am getting a new car.

So my question is, how long do I have to wait for the winning bidder to contact me? I have emailed again, just asking them to make contact asap, even to let me know that they are actually interest in the car. Still no response though.

Can I offer the car as a 2nd chance to this other bidder, as they have said they can collect the car tomorrow and that suits me.

Wouldn't it have been better for you to start a new thread about this?

As you're not exactly a newbie, I thought you would know this. :D

Abbafan1972 Yes I could have started a new thread, with the same title, on the same subject, but thought it would be easier to post here.

Thanks for all your input and help.

It is unrealistic to expect the buyer to get in touch immediately, you have sold the car on ebay so you need to follow the time frames on there. After 4 days you cna open an NPB , 4 days after that you can close it and at that point buyer cannot leave you feedback. Then you can relist or go to a SCO.

Only in the fact you don't have to take paypal. Even with cars you can't open an NPB until day 4 and close it 4 days later, so if OP wants their FVFs back they will have to wait.
