Ignoring any special offers or promos that may be running, is it generally more cost effective to buy plants online or from catalogues rather than from garden centres or the likes of B&Q etc?

Or is it a much and such?

I'm browsing through a Suttons catalogue and it seems that you get more plants per tray than you in High Street places? Or is that not really the case?

It is a mixed bag really, you do have to find out size of plants, not the number, which is why I generally buy from where I can see the plants & quality of them

I have bought from catalogues, and they were fine in the main but for me I want to see before I buy
