well i have sent my letter of complant to abbey and Lioyds
i have recived a letter back from abbey to say that thay can not show any manual intervention on my account and have made arrangrments for the information i require to be sent to me ,,so far so good
what i need to know when i recive the statments from abbey or Lioyds.
and fill in the list of charges clame form to send to them.
how will it work in way of intrest charged to your account
if say you had a overdraft of say £500 pounds a month and you normaly would pay intrest of £20 pounds ,but you whent over your overdraft say to £720 and thay charged you intrest of say £35 pounds
what would you put down on the clame form ?
the normal £20 pound agred overdraft fee or the £35 pound ?
and say if you was overdarwn but not at your limit and had a charge of say £15 pound can you add that to the list of charges ?
any help woud be good

You can't claim back agreed overdraft fees, they are a fee for a service, you can only claim back penalty charges which your bank has dressed up as payments to cover breaches of contract. Interest is a bit too complex for me. Have a look at the CAG forum, this is bound to have been dealt with.0
