Sleeping Mode

Recently my pc as been rebooting itself and the error message that i get is it's going into "Sleeping Mode" can anyone shed any light on this? I'm totally clueless and can't seem to figure out what's causing this.

sleep mode is similar to your pc being powered off, it'll just run on the basic power requirements until you 'wake it up' so to speak.

is it just doing it randomly or when you do a certain thing? some keyboards have a key combination of special button to make it enter sleep mode, could you be knocking that? is it a laptop or pc?

Have you checked the settings in Start, Control Panel, Power Options?

Rox it's a pc, the problem starts randomly and as far as i'm aware, touching a certain key etc isn't causing this.

Espresso i've just checked my setting and they seem to be fine.

I've just checked my settings and when i amended the control panel options, click ok, i go back in and the control panel options have changed this so that's what's probably causing the problem.

Anyone know how i can fix this?
