Have they broken the locks? In what way does it look like attempted theft? You said in your first post it looked like kids and now you are saying a break in?
Either way, I think Third Party, Fire and Theft would only cover for a proven attempted theft - check your policy.Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -
Sorry i have to agree with the others,if you do not have fully comp. you can not claim.
you could claim for theft if your car had been stolen.

If it was legal, you could force your own locks, but maybe the "person" who forced the locks couldn't get in so damaged the rest of the car?
But obviously thats a fraudulant insurance claim, wasting police time etc0 -
but then not only could you get a criminal record but the insurer would only have to replace the locks and not repair the "frustration" damage. So after you get out of jail you still have a damaged car and having made a claim, higher premiums
