Where do I find a t-shirt in winter for school play

Well I'm grateful I'm not being asked to make a reindeer costume or anything like that:D but he needs a plain red t-shirt. Rummaging thru his wardrobe, nope he doesn't have one, orange is the closest but where will I find any t-shirt let alone a plain red one in winter

    Charity shop?

  • I had this problem last year dd4 needed a plain black t-shirt !!!
I dyed one .Not the cheapest option but I was at at loss as where to find one.
  • I would try a charity shop or to first myself...

If no luck have you got a local school uniform shop at all?
Most stock all colours all year round for sportswear and house teams, should only pay about £3 I would think. Get it a bit big and it'll last until next summer.
  • I had this last year. My daughter needed a plain green t shirt for her elves outfit for the school play. The only place I could find plain t shirts was the local school uniform shop too.

Great idea, though I might start at the best charity shop in the world, the wardrobe of my sisters well dressed kids:D . Nephew is a year younger but bigger than DS

Rubyru- had thought of dying but was hoping to get away with not doing so, will be last resort.

k60 -there is a shop in town sells school uniform amongst other things, but I was under impression it was just school named jumpers and polo shirts. There's another one that sells beavers/brownies uniform, work overalls too, worth a try to both

I used to have a red Tshirt but lent it to someone on red nose day a few years ago..... otherwise you could've had it.

Good luck rooting through your sister's children's wardrobe :D

  • Why not look for a long sleeved red top, you are bound to find one in H&M etc.
