i need £2500-3000 to do my loft conversion and someone said use a credit card as it can be cheaper than a loan. i would be paying it back over 2-2 half years, any help much appriciated

also, don't forget many credit cards are on a 'variable rate' which can change (although you do have the right to reject the change and close the card), so what may seem a good deal at the moment, may not be if rates rise. A loan will have a fixed rate.

There is a 0% purchase credit card, but these only last maximum 13 months, so you would have to transfer to another 0% after this period. Your credit file needs to be intact as it is a top offer.

i have already started it, it just needs finished, i am doing most of the work my self just materials ie stairs, velux etc
