Dell Laptop Keyboard Problem - Help

Hello all
I bought a Dell inspiron about 14 months ago and for the last few months I found some of the keys falling off or very loose that I need to press them really hard for the character to appear

I checked the paperwork that came along with the package and it say that I have 1 year CAR(collect and return) so not sure if Dell would cover any faults that occurs after 12 moinths

Is there any use in contacting dell about this problem?

Are these types of fault covered under their manufacturer's warranty
Any help is gratefully accepted
