post to norway but no paypal cover?

hello, am just about to sell an item worth £35 to norway. was intending (and have listed) postage as international signed for - under the impression this meant i would be covered by paypal if buyer declares item lost in the post. am i right that this is so? (providing seller is noted as eligble on their paypal payment..) the postage is exorbitant, but i can't afford to lose £35.. thanks for all advice.

Standard airmail covers you against complete loss as you have up to £41 worth of claim from RM

No RM service guarantees a signature so you woulr probably need to rely on the basic RM claim limit if item fails to arrive. You can't use airsure so you are stuck with international signed for which only tracks in the UK:

Are all International Signed For™ items electronically tracked when they are delivered?
We track all International Signed For™ items until they leave the UK and then the item is handed over to the destination country's postal service as a priority item. However, we can’t track your International Signed For™ item all the way to delivery in every instance.

International signed for is actually no better than standard airmail though.
