Tried to order online as they had sent me a £12 off £60 spend. So put 9 cases in basket - £60! and the following came up -

I worked this out that it should be £48 but the offer it put in my basket was 2for £18. I've emailed them as it clearly states on the homepage 3 for £20 not 2 for £18. Will let you know what the response is.:hello:0 -
Got response from Sainsburys. Sorry the Stella is not on offer as 3 for £20 it is 2 for £18. Funny, it was on the homepage as 3 for £20! Don't know whether to bother emailing them back or not!:hello:0

its 3 for 20 for deliveries up to today only. after today its 2 for £18. Ie the date of delivery is the same as the dates of the offer. If you can walk into a shop and get it for that day, then thats the same price for the delivered stuff on the same day!Syndicat D'Initiative0

OK, the UK 'inferior' one, but a cracking offer IMHO. 50p per can. Approx 70p a pint? £13.98 for a case of 20 x 440ml cans but buy 2 cases for £20. In store at Morrisons.0

It's from the same brewery (leuwen) as proper Stella and tastes like it too!
Just tried this (got 4x 500ml cans from Aldi for £2.69) and it really is very nice indeed. Not totally sure it's 'disguised Stella' as it's 5% but IIRC the Belgian Stella is 5.1% (as opposed to the UK stuff being 5.2%, all very confusing) but it really is a very similar taste. Well recommended.0 -
Glad you liked it - I normally have a few in the fridge! Luckily the Aldi here is next to the Majestic Wine Warehouse where other good imported beers (like Staropramen) are available cheaply. Can I help?0

Shopping Tips
Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.0 -
