Most people on here would reccomend 'Quidco' for best deals on sky. I have never used them but worth a look.
If you do not want to pay for a HD subscription you will still get a HD sky box (assuming uoi go with sky) so you can watch bbc, channel 4, itv in HD. The HD subscription is for all the 'paid for' content (sky, fx etc etc).
I cant say if free sat is better for HD than sky, but as stated above bbc etc are still 'free' with a sky subscription.

There are more HD channels on Sky, but of course you will have to pay for them. The 3 (soon to be 4) Freesat HD channels are, er, free.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Go down the quidco route as somebody said and pocket some cashback.Fog on The Tyne isn't mine all mine... but if I wanted it, I'd want it with a discount code.0
