  • I'm going to move into Mary-Elizabeth Croft's House and use all her stuff.

Then ask her to provide me with a 'legally binding contract' that says she actually owns it, and not just her 'legal fiction'.

If you want to live outside the terms of society, then live outside them. Don't take what's in it for you, then refuse to contribute - that's just outright theft. Whether or not you agree with the terms and conditions of a product or service is a decision you make before you get involved, not once you've had the benefit of one side of the deal.

I hope they sell her debts to bounty hunters.
  • Dear God. I have two thoughts on that site -

    a) it's complete bobbins and won't work
    b) if you did manage to avoid paying your debts it will only be because you have been committed to an asylum

And they say there's no such thing as a bad idea. Remind me to bring that one out at the next brainstorming away day....

Banks/Building Societies/Loan Companies have never had, nor ever will have, any money to lend you … except your own (created by your signature on a Promissory Note - called a Loan Agreement).
Someone started a thread, I think on the mortgage board, about this and got most upset when people (including me) didn't acknowledge our lack of worth when confronted by his awesome and incisive exposition of economic and legal wisdom.

Anyone got a report of any legal case where this mad defence was succefully used? If it is as watertight as claimed I would expect Veronica, or Mary-Elizabeth, to have exploited it to the full.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
  • How can you prove you have a 'living soul'?

    What a load of clap-trap !

According to Veronica, if you call yourself Veronica ,"that is fraud".........

you can quite legally call yourself by whatever name you wish......

    signed,
    Veronica
    or Phredd
    or Tom
    or !!!!!!
    or.....................................

No it seems a lot far fetched. Nice April fool joke (on the right day)

Issues like - the separate legal existence of a company, and who is authorised to sign for a company; have mostly been established since at least the 19th century.
I doubt your local county court will agree to set aside 2 centuries of statute and case law.

    We belong to the Earth
  • My stepdaughter's dad tried pursuing this line of action to try and have his mortgage anulled. He still wanted to keep the house though, obviously.......

He was in court a couple of weeks ago - the case was adjourned to give him the chance to sell before they started reposession action - very lenient I reckon.

On the positive side, he seems to have had a few years of rent and mortgage free living - but it doesn't seem to have been the route to any overall hapiness.....and he's back at his mums.
