What is the diffrence with the above? My mobility problems and care needs have increased what do i need to apply for or ask for?
i currently get high rate mobility and low care, if i have it looked at again will the make a new dession on both mobillity and care? my mobility has got worse but i already get high rate mobility so its slightly confusing, will i need to send new evidence or can i use my old evidence for mobility? i will of course have new evidence for the care side.

I wrote to them and asked for a supersession (Im deaf) and it only took about four weeks to change me from middle to high care making my award double high and they left it as indefinate, they can look at the whole award and some people have lost out but if you have all the evidence ready (you will need up to date evidence) to make the decesion iron clad you should be ok.
Good luck.0 -
There is no difference between a supersession/review/change of circumstances. They are one and the same thing.
You can apply to have your DLA reviewed at any time if your needs have changed. If however you ask them to look at your claim again then they will look at the whole of the benefit, not just the part you have asked to be looked at. Therefore the existing benefit could be changed to a higher or lower rate, last for a longer or shorter time, stay the same, and in some circumstances stop altogether.
It is important when asking for a review to give the Decision Makers as much information as possible and a full picture of your care and mobility needs to ensure they are able to make the right decision.0 -
Thank you for your reply, how exactly do i request a review? is there a form to fill in? if they will look at the entire claim again i assume i must have to fill in a complete new form?0

Yes, there will be a form to fill in. Ring the Helpline and request a change of circumstances form. Remember, put as much information as you can on the form, including extra sheets of paper if necessary. :-)0
