item not received, ebay or paypal claim?

Hi, bought a wii controler on ebay recently, hasnt arrived and starting to get that funny feeling thats it not gong to, should i start an ebay or paypal claim, is there a benefit to either of these? And how long would you wait before commencing claim,seller seems to be in china and is a buisness but promised that all orders dispatched from uk stock. Thanks

If you have contacted the seller and there is no joy yet with the parcel, then your easiest option is a Paypal claim. But ensure it doesn't divert you to Ebay.0

Try and sort it out with the seller first. If you get no joy, then open a Paypal claim.
Many people go straight to Paypal before contact the seller. However, this is the wrong way to go about things.0 -
contacted seller a few times and they keep saying that should arrive soon, to check post office, and when I asked if they could send another one out the reply said thanks for being patient and "hope you receive early" on the other hand I can see the other side and I wouldnt want to send another one out incase the customer was the scammer0
