  • is that psaoi or psapi? Does the file exist on your hard disk?
Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time?

  • First, as albertross says, check: is it PSAOI or PSAPI?

If it is psapi, try this and see if it works.

Do a search on your hard drive for psapi.dll.

If the search finds more than one copy of this file, check the location of each one. Make sure you have a copy in a folder:

    <Hard Drive Letter>\WINDOWS\system32

If you have copies in other places, rename them to something like oldpsapi.dll. Do not delete them and do not rename anything else that isn't named exactly psapi.dll.

IE7 is looking for this file and getting an old version (which doesn't contain getprocessimagefilenamew).

As for the mail thing, I'm not sure. You could try looking here: Internet Explorer 7. It says they've removed some stuff from the toolbar to make it more tidy, so your button could be hidden in one of the menus.
