in Credit cards
Hey
Afternoon all.
I cancelled my Priority Club® Rewards Visa 3 months ago
(hardly used it)
originally i signed up a couple of yrs ago to get enough reward points for a couple of nights in a Holiday inn express ,which worked out fine.
then as with most things i never really amounted many more points
since , as my main card is a TESCO and it seems more benifical
to collect those per £ etc.
anyways i have reapplied and activated my new Priority card
and looks like i will get another 10000 bonus points towards
hotel stays or other services ( within the hotel chains , like meals or use of thier leisure facilities etc )
I think as the card administrated
by Barclaycard and they never said " ah your back again are ya !?" :money:
anyways
my question is if one keeps doing this every year or so
with their cards ( as the best perks are often when you first sign up ) is there any impact on credit ratings kind of thing ?
Kind regards
Bish

Long question! To which there's a very short answer...no.0

As long as you don't close your accounts before they're 12-18 months old you'll avoid looking over frivolous with your choice of account.
Barclaycard do however stipulate you can't re-apply for the same account within six months of closing it. You got lucky this time, but probably won't next time.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
