i would love to know how good these are but they are out of stock within a 100 mile radius of me so if you find 1 can you let me know where good luck in your search0
-
I know this is very subjective, but we got one of these a few weeks ago. The sound quality was fabulous, the pictire quality much less so so it went back the next day. Hope this helps..0

Agreed - actually finding one in stock will be the issue. I've searched many shops.
Looks like a bit of a con to me - emailed advert and front page of their site and not exactly stock to cope with any demand.0 -
What about this? - Worth paying the extra £20 for IMO
I bought one a few weeks ago for use with my Xbox 360 and managed to get it at £229.99 although the price has now gone back to 249.99
Rated very highly on AVForums for use with the above although I haven't set the tv tuner up (Just setting it up as I type this to see the quality of the signal if anybody is interested?)

This TV has now gone up in price to £229.99 and the website shows as was £299.99 now £229.99. Gits.
I called Argos today and they said that the manufacturer failed to deliver the order to Argos' warehouse on the agreed date so they had no stock when this was on promotion.
How very convenient.
"Will you run this price again when you have stock so people can actually buy it?"
"Erm...I'm not responsible for that".
This sucks - the fact it was in the weekly email and front page of the website when they knew damn well they didn't have stock. Call my cynical but.....
I recalled PC World in the past have been told off for a situation like this so for what it's worth I've complained to the ASA. If anyone else is miffed perhapos they'd like to do the same.0 -

I wuold also recommend this TV - I use it in the bedroom off a SKY TV-Link (fed via arial). Picture quality is very good (you may have to reduce the colour a tad though) - especially over RGB scart from DVD. Cant comment on PC/XBOX quality but I suspect it is as good as the TV.0 -
I would definetly reccomend the Samsung, I bought it for £299 just before the world cup, excellent picture and sound. You can also plug a computer into it.
Agree with Phanco about the colour as well.0 -
And dont forget as Samsung class this as a "monitor with TV" not a TV, it comes with a 3 year warranty direct from Samsung !!0

I was going to get the £199 but then saw the £229 which l got instead. Im really glad to hear thats its a good TV, l also got one for my son for Christmas. I havent set ours up yet but hope to the weekend.0
