laptop-hp all in one printer connection problem

Hi i have a Toshiba laptop,and have a problem my HP-all -in one printer has stopped reconizing instructions to print,i have uninstalled the program and re in stalled,and still the problem exists ,the laptop keeps making bonging noises,as if the printer is not connecting properly?although everything installed properly,my mouse also keeps freezing im at a loss as to what is going on i have reistalled to a previuos date and cleaned my hard disk of unwanted files,and still the problem exists.could anyone help thanks jim.
