Virgin media upgrade for 1 month

Hi, I have the medium+ VM bundle along with phone and broadband and thinking of upgrading to the sports package for a month. Would I have to pay for the remainder of Feb and March or will it be til the same date the following month. Eg. 12th feb to 12th March.
Just shy of £30 is expensive enough so don't want to be paying anymore if I do have to pay a month and a half.
edit. Noticed its £22.50 minus HD which is fine.
