Will changing address and student loan affect credit rating?

in Credit cards
Hello
I have been refused credit in the past (last application was a year ago) and am once again checking my credit report as I would like to apply for a new card, preferably with 0% on purchases for at least 6 months. Credit Expert suggests I have an excellent rating.
My details are:
- Halifax credit card £1250 max, about £500 on it, always make payments
- £16000 student loan (I'm an Architect, it takes 5 years!)
- Have changed addresses a number of times from parents - student houses - a number of addresses in london, none over a year in duration, and now changed back to my parent's house (so it states I have been there 1 month)
- On electoral register at my parent's house
- No record on Credit Expert of my Halifax credit card or my mobile phone contract
- only records appear to be settled accounts for a store card and old mobile contract.
Will any of these adversly affect an application for a credit card??
Also, it advises on the main MSE site to phone the card providers and ask about their criteria. I've phoned a couple now and neither have been able to offer any information about their criteria, they know nothing! I want to find out whether my student loan, or changes of address or anything else will affect my application, as obviously I don't want to get rejected again!
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers!
