First I would like to appologise to moderator if this is the wrong section to post this tread.
I just subscribed to Experian to check my credit score. I kind of known what to see there. However, i can't see all my depts. For instance I owe around £7000 to Barclayscard and this is not shown on the report. So can anyone can tell me if there is any reason why this dept may not be shown on my report?
Thanks

The Barclaycard account may be registered at a slightly different iteration of your address to the one you specified when ordering your credit file.
If your address has more than one way in which it can be written, make sure that ALL of your accounts are recorded at the same address as is printed on your Poll Card - VERBATIM.
Also it may not show if it is a VERY old account which pre-dates credit account info sharing in which case Barclaycard don't have your permission to report account performance to the credit reference agencies.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

I just took the free trial with Experian and my info is incorrect too. It associates me with a parent (which is correct) but not with my current partner (whom I also hold joint account with) It is missing a credit card - two of the balances on the others are incorrect and it only lists one of my 2 mortgages! The joke is I now have to write letters to everyone to sort it all out. I am not going to bother subscribing further - will just pay for a further report in the future. Going to get one of the other credit checks to see how it compares.0

So, does it mean, it doesn't effect my credit score? Or it still does0 -
You don't actually have a single credit score. Each lender has their own formula for calculating your score with them. As well as your credit HISTORY, they will also use other factors that are not on your credit history (like what you put on your application form).
So your question cannot be accurately answered because with some lenders it might affect your score, with it others, it might not. Each lender is different.
All you can do is make sure that information that is on your credit history is correct.0 -
While we're on the Creditexpert topic... I just tried to sign up but it said I already had an account with them? i tried my two email addresses and no luck! Is anyone other (decent?) credit report website out there?0
