Sun Holiday offer dearer than expected

We have just got our details for the Sun Holiday offer and have a week in a caravan park in Northern France. Everything is okay so far but the holiday is £44 more than advertised. The invoice has a bas price of £120 instead of the £76 (£19 x 4) it says in the sun holiday terms and conditions. All the expected Add-ons are there (£6.50 per night park supplement) but this extra £44 is unexplainable. I even called the holiday line and they just said the sun base price of £76 only covers part of the real base price!. Has anyone else had this shock when they have received their holiday details?

  • It depends when you are going Andy. The £9.50 price (or £19 for week long European holidays) applies to dates before the end of May.

Dates in June and July are at the £15 rate (or £30 for a week long holiday).

I suspect you are travelling in June or July. Am I right?
  • You are right - Now it makes sense. (Many thanks). You've explained it better than the help line could.
