American Express Card Cancelled

Hi,

My Green American Express card was cancelled sometime last year because I forgot to send them some documents they required after 6 months of using the card ( I ignored It & was just being lazy ) Do you think It's possible to get my account back?

I heard If you have a cancelled card you can no longer get any American Express card for life...

Just wanted to see If anyone else has had the same experience also saves me calling a 0845 lol.

Right, I'm guessing they asked for additonal documents because they did not verify you correctly in the first place - so actually I'm guessing it is their fault. Now since you did not return them documents your card would simply be closed and you can apply as a new customer. You will not get your old account back.
